You might find the monstrous fry-up at Gus' Place, served from 7.30am, more your speed. It is well worth trekking out to A Bite To Eat, a retro-furnished cafe, with a little bar and courtyard. They serve good coffee, freshly squeezed juices and simple, tasty food such as pides full of haloumi, tomato and roasted fennel. While you are in the neighbourhood pop in to the Bavarian Bakehouse at the back of the supermarket next door to pick up a loaf of freshly baked bread or a log of wonderfully light strudel stuffed with apple, poppyseed or our favorite -sour cherry.
