Mt Nelson Signal Station Restaurant Hobart has the most amazing view looking down onto Hobart but even without the view this lovely restaurant is worth visiting. The décor is fresh and open with wonderful pieces of art gracing the historic building which oozes charm. The food is the best of Tasmanian fare influenced by the chef’s training in Europe. Cakes and desserts are a must try and are freshly made every day. The chocolate pear and quince tart is delicious. If you chose to visit on Sunday afternoons thee is also live music.
