Pod Food  is a great, laid back café set amongst the gardens of the Pialligo Farm Nursery. Set in a 1930’s weather board cottage, you can enjoy great coffee on the shaded verandah and great bistro style breakfasts and lunches. They also offer cooking lessons for those that want to replicate at home. Milk and Honey  is a quirky café serves a great breakfast with the standard fare as well as some more unusual dishes such as sweet sticky, black rice and grain-free chocolate bread. Lunch features a menu with an Asian twist – recommended. If that all sounds too groovy, you might find the monstrous fry-up at Gus's Cafe, served from 7.30am, more your speed. It is well worth trekking out to A Bite To Eat, a retro-furnished cafe, with a little bar and courtyard. They serve  good coffee, freshly squeezed juices and simple, tasty food such as pides full of haloumi, tomato and roasted fennel. While you are in the neighbourhood pop in to the Bavarian Bakehouse  at the back of the supermarket next door to pick up a loaf of freshly baked bread or a log of wonderfully light strudel stuffed with apple, poppyseed or our favorite -sour cherry. For a more downbeat and a less glam crowd Pizzazz Cafe and Foodstore ( Cofee purists will approve of the Kingston Grind (where they serve a good latte or ristretto using their own blend of beans. If you are passionate about your hot chocolate head to Zucchero's  made with hot milk and melted Belgian chocolate.
