Heron Island and Lady Elliot Island are beautiful eco-friendly resorts where you can snorkel from the beach to the reef.
What you need to know about Stingers
Stingers are jellyfish which are evidence in Tropical Queensland particularly from November to May. during this time swim oonly at patrolled beaches and ideally cover up when you go into the water.

Moreton Bay is just a hop skip and a jump from Brisbane city yet has miles of sandy coastline and endless national parks to discover. For wildlife lovers Pumicestone Passage is the home to turtles, maine birds and the gentle dugong. For the adventurous Moreton By is a place where you can skydive, glide, canoe or boat or walk through the hinterland. Local produce is abundant so look out for the markets or enjoy the cafes and restaurants. Every Easter The Festival of Sails takes place on Good Friday and this is a huge seaside carnival with gourmet market stalls, live music as well as the yacht race itself!
Hayman Island is the jewel of the islands at the tip of the Whitsundays and is a very special place for an exclusive experience.Over eighty million dollars has been spent on the islands fabulous One and Only resort and if you would like a romantic encounter with sea and sky this is truly awe inspiring. A Bushwalking Experience
There are four particularly exeptional walks in Queensland which include: Noosa Coastal Track; the Goldfield Track, the Cathedral Cave Track in Carnavon Gorge and the Lamington Border Track which links Binna Burra and the Green Mountains.
