Cafes

The Grange Café perched on the sandy dunes of Grange beach, serves great coffee, breakfast and lunches and is a popular spot with the locals. Warm, friendly feel and great views (perfect spot for a drink at sunset).

Joe’s Kiosk, located slap bang on beautiful Henley beach is something of a local institution. Terrific toasted sandwiches, coffee to put a spring in your step and is where anybody who is anybody can be found on Sunday mornings.

Bars

Red Love is a stylish bar in the city, offering great cocktails with the feel of a private club. Live music and a DJ add to the atmosphere – good place for a gathering (but be aware they have a no effort-no entry door code).

Level 1, 170 Pulteney St, Adelaide SA 5000 (08) 8223 2994 www.redloveadelaide.com.au

Casablabla is a tapas lounge bar with an exotic décor reminiscent of Morocco or Bali – two bars, outdoor courtyard, live music – this place may be tucked away in a quiet street in the city but it rocks out most nights and offers dinner entertainment from African dancers to serpent dancers. Fun.

12 Leigh St, Adelaide 5000 (08) 8231 3939 www.casablabla.com

Sangria Bar is a fun Spanish themed bar tucked next to Mesa Lunga restaurant, offering 14 different Sangria variations you can custom make from the ground up, a great selection of beers and wines plus Tapas to soak it all up. Really gets going on the weekends.

Cnr of Morphett and Gouger Street, Adelaide 5000 (08) 8410 7617
